Many families reach out when their child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, behavioral challenges, school-related stress, social difficulties, life transitions, or experiences that feel overwhelming for the child or the family system.
I support children and families navigating concerns such as:
Anxiety and worry
Emotional regulation and overwhelm
Behavioral challenges, including meltdowns
Perfectionism and fear of mistakes
Low self-esteem or confidence struggles
ADHD and executive functioning differences
Autism and neurodivergence
Giftedness and asynchronous development
Sensory sensitivities
School-related stress or avoidance
Social and friendship challenges
Parent-child relationship challenges
Family transitions, separation, or divorce
Grief and loss
Trauma and overwhelming experiences
While diagnoses can sometimes help guide understanding, I focus on seeing beyond the label to understand the whole child—their strengths, nervous system, relationships, lived experiences, and unique way of moving through the world.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, relational, and grounded in emotional safety and connection. Rather than focusing only on behavior, therapy supports children in understanding themselves, building regulation skills, strengthening relationships, and feeling more secure in their world.

I am not in-network with insurance plans, and payment is made directly at the time of each session. However, many families are able to use out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement. If this is available through your plan, I can provide a monthly superbill through the Client Portal for you to submit to your insurance company.

Yes. I offer telehealth sessions for parent consultation and caregiver support when appropriate. Virtual sessions can be a flexible and effective option for parents seeking guidance, support, and collaboration from a private space that feels comfortable and convenient for you.
Typically, children benefit most from play therapy when it is held in person.

A Good Faith Estimate is a written estimate of the expected cost of services for clients who are uninsured or not using insurance. It is provided in advance of services and outlines anticipated fees based on the type and frequency of care discussed.
This estimate is designed to help you understand expected costs so you can make informed decisions about your care. While it is not a contract or guarantee of total cost, it reflects a good faith effort to provide transparency around fees, in accordance with the No Surprises Act.

A crisis may include situations such as your child expressing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, engaging in behaviors that could seriously harm themselves or others, or experiencing extreme emotional or behavioral distress that feels unmanageable or unsafe.
If there is a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For mental health emergencies, you may also go to the Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (444 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH). If you are ever unsure about your child’s safety or well-being, you can call the Nationwide Children’s Hospital psychiatric crisis line, staffed 24/7 by clinicians, at (614) 722-1800.
You do not have to navigate this alone—support is available, and help is accessible when you need it.
